Staging & Design Tip: Hanging Artwork

Artwork is the jewelry of the home! It pulls together all of the functional pieces and make sense of the space. We see so many beautiful pieces in homes everyday, but we want to make sure these are hung at the appropriate height.  In staging homes, a mistake we see many homeowners making is hanging a piece too high. Our helpful hint:  hang the middle of the artwork at eye level, or approximately 58 inches from the ground to the middle of the piece.  It instantly transforms the art piece and the room!
